LaLiga Academy Signs Strategic Agreement to Operate at Sharjah Football Club

 

Sharjah, UAE – 27 November 2018 – LaLiga Academy, the only scouting academy in the UAE, announced today the signing of a strategic agreement to launch and operate academy at Sharjah Football Club.

 

The agreement was announced at a press conference held yesterday at the Sharjah Football Club which was attended by Major General Salim Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of Sharjah Football Club, Mr. Muhsin Musabah, President of Sharjah Football Club Company, Mr. Hussein Murad, Managing Director of LaLiga Academy UAE as well as Mr. Ihab Salem, CEO of Sharjah FC and Mr. Jamal Saleh Technical Director Sharjah Football Club and

 

Aligned with the national agenda to advance the level of youth football in the UAE, this newest LaLiga Academy will continue to raise the bar on youth football training with a team of UEFA Pro-certified coaches who will deliver the football methodology that has produced the world’s best football players.

 

The strategic agreement between LaLiga Academy and Sharjah FC is a first of a kind, with a dual goal: training UAE national youth players to the highest global football levels, while providing them with a pathway to scouting and pro-football careers. The agreement will also provide training to Sharjah FC coaches to the highest international levels.

 

Speaking about the agreement, Muhsin Musabah, President of Sharjah Football club Company, said: “Our partnership with LaLiga Academy enables us to deliver on our vision of having a world-class football academy, where our youth can develop their skills to the highest standards. We were very selective in our choice and decided to join hands with the best, knowing that it will enable our youth to receive the best levels of training at the hands of highly qualified UEFA-Pro Certified LaLiga coaches. LaLiga Academy was established in the UAE in 2017. It is open to all boys and girls across the UAE from the ages of 4 – 18 with a Spanish football methodology delivered by a team of UEFA Pro-certified coaches, who are also qualified scouts.
